Workshop: Mediator of Innovation

Innovation and cross-sector collaboration doesn’t manifest itself. Co-creating and implementing new solutions requires working across organisational boundaries. This poses all sorts of challenges, such as translating between organisational logics, aligning expectations and timelines, facilitating collaboration, surfacing conflicts early, and building trust. We believe a lot of you are already doing this work, without mandate or recognition. We are calling this role the ‘Mediator of Innovation’. The role is not a new position, but a vehicle to recognize the work that already exists.

On Tuesday May 12 (14:00 – 16:00/2 – 4 PM) we want to explore this role together. To make explicit where collaboration across organisations is happening, where the challenges are, and what potential solutions the role of Mediator of Innovation can deliver.
